Clarify consists of Louis Van Lill (24) and Armon Niemand (21) from the West Coast of South Africa. Louis grew up in a small town near Lamberts bay and Armon is from Langebaan and it was here where they became friends at a young age. Armon is originally a drummer and had a 3 piece band at the time in which a vocalist was needed urgently. "I was jamming at a braai when I heard this dude (Louis) sing along with some people, I immediately took him to our practice spot and played some songs with him". Louis was then asked to join the band and gladly accepted and this is how they became close friends.

A few years after that Armon had to move to Cape town to study sound engineering and the band split up. Louis pursued his music by performing in various pubs, restaurants, festivals etc. After Armon finished his studies he worked in a music shop where he learned to play guitar for about a year in Hermanus, whilst playing for a couple of rock bands. He decided to move back to the West Coast where he got in touch with Louis again.
"We never decided that we were going to form a band, I just sat at home one night when Louis rang me up to come see one of his shows, so I asked him if I should bring my guitar, we clicked and the rest is...History."

Since then Clarify Have been performing at many venues in and around Langebaan,cape Town and further afield; Captains Cabin, Mykonos casino, Bouzouki's, San Marco's, Kaktus, BlueBay Lodge, Kontiki, Friends, The Lapa, Vlakvarkgat, Blou Boot, Tropicana, Cougar lounge, Lemon & Lime (Oudshoorn), Gabby's (Oudshoorn), CueBar(Oudshoorn) De jonge, ZuBar, ZulaBar, Quay Four, etc...

Festivals include:
Hermanus WhaleFest, Olive Festival
Harley Davidson 2 Passes Fest (Plettenberg bay)
Absa KKNK - 6 slots on the Castle stage
Hillcrest - Wine Festival
